Comida, Comida, Comida!

For some strange reason, I have a reputation down here for liking food. It’s a bit surprising, really. The food here is fresh and very, very good.

This was part of Christmas dinner.

See you people in a week or so.

Ciao for Niao. Ha! see what I did there? I kill me.

The stuff on the left is 'choripan'. It looks like sausage on a bun because it is. So good. The green stuff in the middle is called 'aji' it is a condiment made with a local pepper. It comes in several varieties and is just about the best thing every invented. The stuff on the right is called 'pebre casero' and it IS the best thing ever invented. It's like salsa but kinda like a flashlight is like the sun. You mix these three things together and it is tastebud heaven.

'Ensalada a la Chilena' so good when eaten outside under the pine trees on Christmas day.
