Road Trip: Summer 2015

In Thunder Bay. What a long drive. (1400km) People tell you that the north shore of Lake Superior in ‘Not to be missed!’. If you’ve been to Port Severn, you’ve seen 1390km of the trip to Thunder Bay. Green cedar trees, little lakes, red rocks. Some bigger, some smaller. After a while it seems you’re travelling in circles; “Didn’t I just see that rock outcrop? That’s the same tree!” It makes the drive interminable! (look it up)

There are a few bigger rocks and nice views though.

Saw a bear cross the road. Too slow with the camera. Have to work on the quick draw.

Saw a moose. Not sure if it was real or animatronic. Took a pic anyways.

Stopped a few times to take pics and ended up passing the same truck 6 times. I think the driver was a bit spooked.

Should be in Manitoba tomorrow.

Hope you all are enjoying your summer holidays.

Missing my road trip sidekick,

Moose. I think.
